Identifying industrial drainage assets and maintenance needs
Oil separators, silt traps, catchpits and attenuation systems do different jobs. The maintenance approach depends on the asset installed, what drains to it and where the system discharges.
Asset details: manufacturer, model, capacity and drawings, where available.
Drainage duty: the area or process served and the oil, residues, sediment or other contamination it may receive.
Maintenance history: previous emptying or inspection, reported defects and recurring problems.
Access and discharge: cover locations, connected drains, outlet arrangement and known discharge destination.
