Using industrialdraincleaning.co.uk means accepting these terms

The website industrialdraincleaning.co.uk is operated for Industrial Drain Cleaning. These Terms of Service apply to anyone who visits it, browses its pages, submits information through it or makes any other use of it. You accept them by using the site, by sending an enquiry, or by asking us for an introduction to a supplier.

About Industrial Drain Cleaning

This website is operated by Industrial Drain Cleaning. Our contact address is Suite 114b Business First, Davyfield Road, Blackburn, Lancashire BB1 2QY.

This website lets customers describe industrial drainage work so that Industrial Drain Cleaning can introduce their enquiry to a supplier or third-party company that may be able to assist.

Introductions cost you nothing

There is no cost to the customer for submitting an enquiry here, nor for being introduced to a supplier. Our income may come from suppliers or third-party companies, as commission, referral income, marketing fees or sales income. None of that adds a fee for you to use the website.

The site is for information and enquiries about drainage work

On this site you can read general service information, find routes for contacting us, and use our enquiry forms. Details you submit may be reviewed by us and forwarded to a third-party supplier, contractor or service provider we think may be a suitable fit for the work.

Introductions are based on what we know at the time. Whether a supplier is available, whether it takes the job on, whether the job can be completed within a particular timescale and whether the quoted price meets your expectations are all outside any guarantee from us.

The supplier does the work, not us

Industrial Drain Cleaning’s role is that of a connector. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we:

  • do not attend site as the appointed contractor;
  • do not carry out the physical work;
  • do not operate plant or equipment;
  • do not transport waste;
  • do not ourselves provide regulated drainage, cleaning, disposal, tank, silo or industrial services through this website.

Responsibility for each of the following rests with the supplier appointed for the job: method statements, risk assessments, site attendance, staff, vehicles, equipment, work quality, waste transfer documentation, consignment documentation, licences, permits, insurance, quotations, advice and aftercare. You should check the supplier’s credentials and terms before instructing them.

Quotes come from the supplier

A quotation, estimate, order, booking, call-out, site visit, service contract or supply contract is an arrangement between you and the supplier unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. You must read and agree the supplier’s own terms before authorising work.

Attendance windows, emergency call-out arrangements, prices, minimum charges, waste charges, disposal routes, permit requirements, cancellation terms and additional work are all for the appointed supplier to control. A supplier that has reviewed the site may alter its quotation, or turn the work down, if the scope changes.

Emergency enquiries do not guarantee immediate attendance

Our normal opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Out of hours, we may be available for emergency work where a suitable supplier can respond. Submitting an emergency enquiry does not guarantee that anyone will attend immediately. Until a supplier responds, you should take appropriate safety, environmental and site-control steps.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us

Information you give to us or to a supplier has to be accurate, complete and current. For an industrial drainage job, this includes:

  • the drainage layout;
  • confined-space concerns;
  • known contamination;
  • hazards;
  • the waste description;
  • quantities;
  • access limits and the site address;
  • height or lifting constraints;
  • photographs;
  • any deadline affecting the work.

You must not submit false, misleading, unlawful or abusive material, confidential third-party information without authority, or anything you lack permission to share. Nor may you use the website to interfere with its operation or to attempt unauthorised access to systems, data or supplier information.

Suppliers rely on your site information

After an introduction, you must give the supplier the information it needs to judge site access, health and safety, environmental risk and the scope of the job. This may include tank or drainage plans, previous survey results, induction requirements, site-specific rules, permit information, parking arrangements, Safety Data Sheets, waste codes and photographs.

A supplier may decline to proceed where site conditions differ from the information provided, where there is a safety concern, where required documentation is missing, or where the work falls outside its permissions, insurance or competence.

Website content is not professional advice

Pages here contain general service information only. Nothing on them is engineering, environmental, health and safety, waste-classification, legal, regulatory, tax or insurance advice. If the job needs that kind of input, you should obtain it from a competent professional or the appointed supplier.

Although we try to make the information clear and useful, we make no promise that each page is complete, up to date or suitable for every site. Supplier availability, operational requirements, guidance and laws may change.

Suppliers are independent businesses

Third-party suppliers are separate firms. They are not employees of Industrial Drain Cleaning. We have no responsibility for a supplier’s acts, omissions, delays, advice, documentation, pricing, staff conduct, work quality, damage, loss, waste handling or regulatory compliance, unless the law says we cannot exclude that responsibility.

Problems arising once you have instructed a supplier should be raised directly with that supplier as soon as possible. Investigating and resolving matters linked to its quotation, attendance, work or aftercare is for the supplier.

Some liability can never be excluded

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Examples are liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, operating the website and making introductions where appropriate is the limit of our role.

Disputes, losses, delays, damage, costs or claims that arise between you and a third-party supplier following an introduction are not our legal responsibility. That applies equally where they concern the supplier’s work, advice, attendance, contract terms, payment terms or service quality.

A matched supplier is not necessarily the only or best choice

The details you provide may be used by us to decide which supplier looks like a good fit. This does not guarantee that the supplier is the only suitable one, the cheapest, or the best in every circumstance. Choosing whether to instruct a supplier stays your responsibility.

Parts of the website may change or stop working

At any time we may update, suspend, withdraw or change any part of the website. We do not guarantee that the website, enquiry forms, telephone lines, email routes or supplier-matching process will always be available or free of interruption.

Enquiry details are used to reply and to introduce

Information in an enquiry may be used by us to respond to you and to introduce the enquiry to a suitable supplier. For more about personal information, see the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy linked from this website.

Our intellectual property may not be reused without permission

Website text, design, branding, page layouts, logos and other materials are owned by or licensed to the relevant rights holder. Viewing and printing pages for your own internal decision-making is fine. Copying, scraping, republishing, selling or reusing substantial parts of the website requires permission.

These terms can change

We may revise these terms periodically. Your use of the website is governed by the latest version published on this page. Continuing to use the website once changes appear means you accept the revised terms.

The laws of England and Wales apply

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Jurisdiction lies with the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer protection law gives you a mandatory right to use another court.

Ask us about the website, ask the supplier about the work

Questions about the website or these terms can be sent using the details on our Contact page. For anything about a supplier’s work, contact that supplier directly first, because the quotation, work and aftercare are under its control.
